DEVELOPMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT STAFF UPDATE
Mr Jon Crail has been appointed FDI Development & Public Health Coordinator. He will be reporting directly to Dr Habib Benzian, FDI Development and Public Health Manager and will also work closely with Ms Gina Ivosevic, Live.Learn.Laugh. Project Coordinator.
Mr Crail is originally from the United States. He has a Bachelor degree in Political Science from Kalamazoo College in Michigan, U.S.A., and holds a Masters of Science in Health, Community and Development from the London School of Economics. Mr Crail has held various positions with Amigos de Las Americas in Texas, U.S.A., where he last served as Regional Director for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. He has good experience in project management, from grassroots community work to management tasks such as evaluation and monitoring. He is fluent in Spanish and has travelled extensively in the Americas and elsewhere.
Apart from his professional career he has a strong interest in photography and information technology. He is the founder and director of a nongovernmental organisation called Digital Roots.
