PROF GÖRAN KOCH RESIGNS AS CE PROGRAMME MANAGER
Prof Göran Koch has been a part of the FDI for more than two decades and has distinguished himself in the promotion of the ethics, art, science and practice of dentistry.
He began his work with the FDI in 1985, first as a member and then later as Chairman of the Commission of Oral health, Research and Epidemiology. This was then followed by his terms as member and Chairman of the Congress and Education Committee (CEC).
After his chairmanship of the CEC, Prof Koch remained dedicated to continuing professional dental education and joined the FDI as Continuing Education (CE) Programme Manager for Eastern Europe.
“Through his knowledge, expertise, hard work and excellent network, Prof Koch has achieved outstanding results,” said Dr JT Barnard, FDI Executive Director. “He has played a significant role in managing the CE programme with great success. The FDI is fortunate to have benefited from his outstanding contribution.”
“The FDI involvement has given me so many good friends for life all over the world,” said Dr Koch. It is really great and rewarding to work with the FDI and I am very grateful that I have been given this possibility,” said Prof Koch.
The FDI Annual World Dental Congress in Dubai will be Prof Koch’s last as Programme Manager for the FDI.
