Affiliate Members must be able to demonstrate that they have significant
international membership and interests and that membership is open
to all qualifying organisations from all countries.
Affiliate Members must be able to demonstrate that they provide services,
programmes or resources to their member organisations.This category
is for organisations primarily representing dentists. It is not for
industry or commercial organisations or for organisations representing
members with commercial interests.Affiliate members have the right:
- Attend the General Assembly and speak but not vote
- Attend all open meetings and workshops
- Participate in the development of Statements and contribute to
specific FDI projects
- Receive one free copy of the FDI’s main publications: International
Dental Journal, Developing Dentistry, and the Ferney Communiqué
newsletter
- Take part in an annual meeting with representatives from the FDI
Council and senior staff
