The International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD) invites pioneers to become one of the first IAPD Fellows in 2023. This esteemed programme is designed to promote excellence in paediatric dentistry while fostering international collaboration by demonstrating knowledge.
Commit to improving the oral health of children by becoming the first IAPD Fellows in 2023
The IAPD Fellowship is a prestigious programme aimed at paediatric dentists and general dentists with a strong emphasis on treating children worldwide. IAPD Fellows possess contemporary, internationally recognized knowledge of paediatric dentistry and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
The Fellowship is overseen by a professional and independent examination committee, which administers a 100-question exam to evaluate applicants’ understanding of scientific, biological, and clinical principles, as well as their ability to apply their knowledge. To prepare for the Fellowship, applicants must first obtaining a dental license and gain practical experience. The applicant is expected to build a portfolio of 16 continuing credits over a period of 24 months by attending paediatric dentistry-related events. The final step of the Fellowship is the successful completion of the qualifying examination.
The renewal process for the Fellowship is an ongoing and continuous one, in which Fellows are required to provide evidence of an active dental license and the accumulation of Continuing Education (CE) hours on an annual basis by uploading the necessary documentation.
